In modded environments, you can move beyond physical water pools by integrating an infinite source directly into your digital ME Network. This allows for high-speed fluid automation without the need for manual bucket handling.
1. The Fluid Interface Method (Standard AE2)
This is the primary way to provide a constant stream of water for autocrafting or machine cooling using base AE2 mechanics.
- Setup: Place an ME Fluid Interface and connect it to your ME cable network.
- Configuration: Click the interface and place a Water Bucket into the top configuration slot.
- Behavior: The system now recognizes water as an available resource. When a machine or Fluid Export Bus requests water, the network “simulates” the supply from this interface.
