This was not a decision made lightly. To provide our players with the highest quality experience, we must address two primary hurdles:
- Development Efficiency: The process of porting updates to Technic has become increasingly labor-intensive. By streamlining our distribution, we can deliver new content and bug fixes to you much faster.
- Backend Infrastructure: Our current infrastructure is reaching its capacity. To accommodate the size and complexity of modern patches, we need to utilize platforms with more robust storage and distribution capabilities.
Furthermore, internal testing consistently shows that our packs achieve superior performance and stability on CurseForge, ATLauncher, and Modrinth. Moving away from Technic allows us to lean into these optimizations fully.

We want to ensure a smooth transition for those currently using Technic:
- Existing Packs: All latest versions available at the time of this transition will remain hosted on Technic.
- New Archive: These versions will also be mirrored at https://dl.ampznetwork.com for long-term accessibility.
- Support Status: Please be aware that while these legacy files remain available, they will no longer receive active updates or technical support.
Moving forward, we will not be launching new projects on the Technic platform. We believe it is in the best interest of our community to invest our energy where it can be actively maintained and improved.
